Pois likes: we like the subtle delicateness of this Anna Westerlung blue bowl, a one-off creation from the artist. Anna Westerlund is half-Swedish and half-Portuguese, and this double culture has profoundly influenced her work. She usually works on very small series sewing on her ceramic pieces using ribbons and pearls. She has a very rich and international background and is the kind of person who seems to be as good-looking outside and inside. For the little story, she worked as a model which allowed her to travel around the world and discover her passion for ceramics. In September 2006 Anna was selected to represent Portugal as a young ceramist in the International Ceramic Biennal in Denmark and participated in a exhibition showing the best Portuguese design at the MOMA shop in New York.
