Terms and Conditions
- The current General Sale Conditions determine the contractual relations between the customer (you) and Poisselection.com, an online store dedicated to selling Portuguese products to national and international markets. The general sale conditions are the only conditions applied and prevail over all other conditions.
- By submitting an order, the customer expressly confirms acceptance of these General Sales Conditions. Pois Selection reserves the right to revise prices and details at any time without notice. All items are subject to availability.
- Orders and registration
- To place an order for one or more items from Pois Selection, you must follow the usual procedure for online: add an item to the shopping basket and adjust quantities if you wish to purchase more than one item. When you are done with your selection, simply proceed to checkout, following the instructions provided by the website at each step of the way.In order to purchase via this website, you will be asked to register through insertion of the customer’s personal data fields. You guarantee the veracity of the data entered at the time of registration, and are responsible for all uses of your account, wherein access is restricted and protected by your email and password. You are the only responsible for the use of your password. Please do not disclose it to any third parties.The products presented at Poisselection.com may not be guaranteed and the images and colours displayed on the site can vary, depending on the resolution, screen of your computer and browser. The images shown are purely indicative.The products sold by Poisselection.com can contains characteristics of materials used in its composition such as grain, points, colour variants can not be regarded as defects but should be accepted as part of the particular nature of the product and appreciated. Certain weights, measures and descriptions are approximate and are solely provided for your convenience.Information relating to beauty articles in our online Store is provided without cultural references, medical information, and references to allergies or chronic medical conditions. - Costs
- The prices are presented in Euros and include VAT at the current rate, established by the Portuguese law. Shipping charges will be added, to the price, depending of the delivery destination and type of delivery service used. Deliveries made to some European Union countries may be subject to additional fees or taxes, in conformity with the respective customs policy. The taxes are not Pois Selection responsibility and may vary from one country to another. If you want to be on the safe side, please inform yourself on your country legal duties before purchasing.
- Payment Methods
- Customers of Pois Selection can pay their order through 3 payment methods:
  - Payment using PayPal secure system with your Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express);
  - Payment via PayPal account;
  - Payment via Multibanco ATM payment reference (via Ifthen).
  Payment with PayPal: the seller or merchant never sees your credit card and bank numbers. Your financial information stays safe. Plus, you’re protected 100% against unauthorized payments sent from your account. PayPal processes your payment securely.
  
  Payment with Multibanco ATM payment reference: is only possible via accounts held in Portuguese banks, and must be made within 12 hours following creation of the reference, under penalty of cancellation of order.
  
  The order will be shipped upon receiving the confirmation of payment. Pois Selection will confirm the order by sending an email confirmation to the Customer.
- Shipping Services
- Pois Selection offers you an efficient and hassle-free delivery service. We take care of everything, making sure your items are carefully packaged and arrive quickly.
  We ship to the all these European countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain (Mainland), Sweden and United Kingdom.
  We ship via our 2 logistics partners: national Post Office of Portugal (CTT) and Chronopost. All our deliveries are hand delivery and made through registered shipping (where a signature is required for all deliveries). The service provides a tracking reference that allows the customer to go on their website and locate each order, from shipment to delivery.
- Shipping Costs and Delivery Information
- For Portugal*, we will charge you a fix shipping cost of 6€ up to 5kg. For France* and Germany, we will charge you a fix shipping cost of 15€ up to 3kg.Above and for the rest of Europe, the shipping cost will depend on the weight, volume and destination. As an indication of shipping costs and delivery times, please check the table below:Destination: Portugal (Mainland)*

  Please check the shipping costs after placing your order and prior to payment. Please note that Pois Selection does not make deliveries to PO box addresses.
  
  Any products purchased from this Poisselection.com are delivered at the address indicated by the customer when making the purchase. If the order is delivered back to our store because it failed to be delivered, we will not pay for the shipping costs to deliver the order again. All the charges must be paid by the customer. To ensure a successful delivery, please make sure the address is correct and you are able to accept the delivery between 9AM and 5PM Monday to Friday.
  
  We suggest you choose a delivery address where you are always present, such as your workplace and a mobile phone number where you can be reached easily.
  
  If the carrier leaves a notice for the order to be collected from a delivery point, it is the customer’s responsibility to pick it up. And if the order is returned to the sender after not being collected during the period of time allocated, it is the customer’s responsibility to pay for the charges of a second delivery. In the event that you do not receive the order in the indicated deadline, please contact us so our Customer Service may attend to that matter quickly.
- Returns Policy
- At Pois Selection we want you to be delighted and 100% satisfied every time you shop with us. Occasionally though, we know you may wish to change your mind. Under the Portuguese Distance Selling Regulations, the customer has 14 working days (from the day after you receive your goods) to cancel the contract of its order with us. The customer must let us know in writing by email to Customer Service, stating its wish to cancel the contract and ensuring he quotes the order number in all correspondence. We will refund the original purchase price and any delivery charges if applicable. If you have already received the goods, you will need to return the entire order at your cost.Pois Selection will refund the customer, in case the products ordered prove to be faulty. However, upon reception of the order, the customer undertakes to check whether the products have any apparent defect, and the product will be considered being delivered without any damages, when it is accepted without any reservations. In the event of product damages or any apparent defects, you should not accept the order, and should immediately return it. The customer has a maximum deadline of 14 days counted from the date of reception of the product, to exercise his right of return. To exercise the right to a refund, returns must be made by registered shipping with reception notice within 7 days to the following address:

  The Email address of our Customer Service is: info@poisselection.comThe goods must be returned in the same condition as received and must also be in the original packaging. If the product has been tampered or damaged, no refunds will be made. Several types of goods are exempt from being returned i.e. perishable goods such as food, beverages, books and health and personal care items. You shall be refunded within 15 days after the reception of the products. You will also be fully reimbursed in case of stock unavailability.
- Privacy Policy
- The personal data supplied by the customers is kept safe within Pois Selection records and will not be unlawfully used or passed on to third parties. All customers are entitled to access, change and cancel the data they provide, by simply using the Account section we have provided.Customers expressly allow Pois Selection to send information about products and services that may be of interest, using the personal data the customer have provided, via any communication channel, including email.

Unless specifically permitted, no content may be modified, reproduced or publicly displayed, performed or distributed or used for any public or commercial purposes.
- Litigation and Liability
- These terms and conditions are governed by Portuguese law. If the terms stated above are disrespected, legal action and/or necessary measures will be taken in accordance with the Portuguese law, Competent Court.Without prejudice to the parties stipulate an agreement, any and all issues arising from these Terms and Conditions, including those relating to interpretation, validity or effectiveness, shall be dealt at the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of the District of Lisbon, Portugal, with express waiver of any other.To the extent permitted by law, Poisselection.com responsibility towards the customer can never exceed the value paid for the products and associated services provided.
