Product Description
Lisbon tramway drawing print with Pop colours, the famous Lisbon icon is revisited in an original and fresh-coloured way!
Pois likes: the pop colours of this Lisbon tramway drawing print. This drawing has been made by Lis Gonçalves. She is a self taught Portuguese artist born in South Africa. When Lis explains her work, she says that she puts Portuguese symbols on paper and artistically colours them “through the eyes of a child”. For our part, we would simply say that her drawings are “happy and joyful”. For the little story, Lisbon yellow tramway is the most famous symbol of the city. The “Electrico” as Portuguese people call it, is a vintage yellow tram that criss-crosses the city centre, through wide esplanades and narrow streets, taking in many of Lisbon’s most important sites along the way. It has been in operation since 1901, and still has its original wood paneling. It si a nice and handmade souvenir from Portugal to bring back home!
Pois testimonials: “This Lisbon tramway drawing print is a nice and original gift in a combination of two or four drawings, framed in white (the size is made to go in a Ikea frame). It is fresh-coloured and will bring good energy in your home.“
