When Lis explains her work, she says that she puts Portuguese symbols on paper and artistically colours them “through the eyes of a child”. For our part, we would simply say that her drawings are “happy and joyful”. For the little story, the swallow, migratory bird, is known to be brave and faithful and its symbol wishes a warm welcome back.
