Sardine drawing print with Pop colours, the famous Lisbon icon is revisited in an original and fresh-coloured way!
Pois likes: the pop colours of this sardine drawing print. This drawing has been made by Lis Gonçalves. She is a self taught Portuguese artist born in South Africa. When Lis explains her work, she says that she puts Portuguese symbols on paper and artistically colours them “through the eyes of a child”. For our part, we would simply say that her drawings are “happy and joyful”. For the little story, the sardine is “a Portuguese icon” and is even considered to be the queen of the Lisbon festival which takes place every year in June. A that moment, you can smell grilled sardines througout the Lisbon streets.
Pois testimonials: “This sardine drawing print is a nice and original gift in a combination of two or four drawings, framed in white (the size is made to go in a Ikea frame). It is fresh-coloured and will bring good energy in your home.“
